Policies and Procedures
All prospective students of any age are welcome to drop in for a complimentary class at Broadway Performing Arts (BPA). Please email email@example.com to schedule.
Make up classes may be made during the semester at a similar or lower level than the student is currently enrolled in.
All classes will be held at Broadway Presbyterian Church at the northwest corner of Broadway and 114th Street, unless otherwise noted.
If a student is late to class, they should wait at the entrance of the studio until the teacher invites them in. If too much time has lapsed, the teacher may ask them to observe the rest of class.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if your child will be absent within 24 hours before the class. Failing to do so may result in the forfeiture of the individual class (i.e. not being able to schedule a makeup class).
When you register for a class, you’re registering for all classes in the semester. The Fall semester is September 17, 2019 - January 25, 2020, and the Spring semester is January 28 - June 6, 2020. Payment must be made in full before the first class of the semester.
Private sessions must be paid individually.
We offer a 10% Sibling Discount and a 5% discount for paying in full for both semesters. Please email email@example.com for more information.
Students may withdraw from the program or make any necessary changes to their schedule without penalty through the first week of classes. Please submit all such requests by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
After the first week of classes, all enrolled students are committed to the full semester of the class and cannot make any changes. All tuition fees are final.
Exceptions to tuition commitment includes injuries involving no activity lasting greater than 8 weeks with a doctor’s note or if the student is moving more than 30 miles away from the school.
Students enrolled in the Fall semester will automatically be enrolled in Spring semester unless they notify the school by email to email@example.com by December 21, 2019.
Performance fees are non-refundable after the first rehearsal.
No more than 2 absences per piece are permitted out of respect for the piece and the other dancers. Performers who miss more than two rehearsals may be replaced in their parts if necessary.
Performance fees may be split into payments. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements.
Students and parents are expected to behave appropriately at all times. This includes: no talking during class and no inappropriate talk in the waiting areas or dressing areas.
Students and parents are expected to treat fellow students, parents, and teachers with kindness and respect. BPA maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding bullying of all forms, and reserves the right to ask disruptive students and parents to leave the class at any time.
Social media etiquette is expected from both students and parents. Questions, comments, concerns should be brought up with Mr. Bret, not on social media, or immediate dismissal from the school will occur.
Personal items should be locked up or brought into the studio. BPA and Broadway Presbyterian Church are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
